After a very peaceful protest earlier today, riot police were called to MacArthur park, where the protest march began. I'm not sure what happened, but I think the police wanted to disperse last of the lingering crowds, and in the misjudgement of haste, the riot police were more aggressive then they intended and ended up beating some of the people at the event.
